F.A.Q.

for your stay at Inch Hideaway, Eco Sustainable Campsite:

Q. What do I need to bring?
A. Bring your torch with you and bring comfortable warm clothing, waterproof shoes, good warm jackets and your food & drinks.

Q. Are you dog friendly?
A. Yes we are Pet Friendly. We have met people who are scared of dogs or other pet animals, so as long as everyone else is comfortable at the camp site they are welcome. Anyway, if you’d like to bring your pet animal with you during your stay this must be arranged and agreed prior to your booking. We also have 2 friendly lurchers, a pig and some chickens on site.
You’ll need to bring your dog’s bed, waste bags for cleaning after them and keep them on a lead at all times.
You are ultimately responsible for your pet animal and if you have a dog bed and a lead you can bring this would be great.

Q. Do I have to bring linen/sleeping bags?
A.  All the bedding, linen and pillows are provided for your stay in the yurts.

Q. Do I need to bring towels?
A. Yes, please bring your own towels. If you forget you can rent them out from us, no panic.

Q. Do we bring our own food?
A. Yes. There is also a shop in Whitegate village if you need to stock up during your stay.
On site the Communal Kitchen has evrything you need for self catering. There are charcoal and gas BBQ facilities but you will have to bring your own charcoal.

Q. Is there electricity in the accomodation?
A. Sure thing! All accomodation and social spaces have sockets for charging your phone, cameras etc.

Q. Is there drinking water ?
A. Yes, all taps on site run our own well water, so you don’t need to bring any water or plastic bottles with you.
